Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester

Monday to Friday + Every other Saturday

Up to £35,000 per annum

We are working on behalf of a respected, well-established automotive company, that is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their dynamic team in Long Eaton. The company provides an array of services including car sales, servicing, and MOTs. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a part of a team of professional vehicle technicians in a highly reputable organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles in line with the company and manufacturer's standards.
• Conducting MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines.
• Completing Administration tasks including Job card creation and Pricing of jobs.
• Ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurately completed.
• Providing excellent customer service to all clients, advising on work required and carried out.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Level 2 or higher NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Valid and active MOT Tester License is highly desirable however for the right candidate training courses will be provided
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of a wide range of vehicles.
• A full, clean driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
