 Job Summary:

As a Drainage Engineer, you will play a pivotal role managing drainage solutions for their clients in and around London. You will work closely with a fantastic team.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of drainage systems, ensuring their ongoing functionality.
  • Unblocking of the drainage systems of commercial and domestic properties.
  • CCTV Surveys and repairs
  • Patch lining and gutter cleaning.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with a background in injection mould tooling and processes to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire design and development process, from concept to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring seamless communication with our customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Oversee the design and development of injection mould tooling and related processes, ensuring timely progression from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers through weekly reviews and project tracking tools.
  • Prepare Quotations and Quality Assurance Forms (QAFs).
  • Coordinate with the supply chain, ensuring all technical information is provided, and manage the process through to production and approval (PSW).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Management Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience working with OEMs.
  • Knowledge of APQP software and Dassault Catia V5 is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Dassault 3DX and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus.
  • Experience with injection mould tooling is required.
