Garden Machinery Techician

Location: Chippenham

Salary: Up to £30 000.00 DOE

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00 + Overtime.

The Role

Our client is a leading provider of garden machinery and equipment, dedicated to serving the needs of landscaping professionals, homeowners, and garden enthusiasts. They specialize in offering a wide range of high-quality garden machinery, including lawnmowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and more. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Garden Machinery Technician to join their team.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with garden machinery such as lawnmowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and leaf blowers.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, blade sharpening, belt replacements, and filter cleaning.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify worn or damaged parts and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess the condition of machinery and determine the most appropriate course of action.
• Provide excellent customer service.

 

Requirements

• Proven experience 1 as a Garden Machinery Technician or similar role, with expertise in repairing and servicing a variety of garden machinery and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, power tools, and manual hand tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
